About me?!

I am nerves...It is hard to write about my self because I feel that I am always evolving.  I would attribute it to a pre-midlife crisis.  It may sound silly but I feel that I am really finding out who I am now.  Our perhaps I'm just a late bloomer. But to get you started on the basics of the generic me; my name is Erika and I recently moved to San Jose from Sacramento. I really miss Sacramento and all my beautiful friends.  I moved to San Jose because the man I love and who I promised to marry one day got a job here.
My Birthday is Halloween and I will be turning 28 years old. I enjoy hiking, swimming, biking and watching my stories.  I really enjoy music, currently I am digging psychedelia and a lot of Kinks'. Another passion of mine is planning my back packing trip that I will be taking June 2012. I've been planning this trip for the last four years, and finally I will be going ... back packing through Europe! Pretty much I have been obsessed with this trip, I feel like, seens forever. Things have always gotten in the way, but I finally made my European vacation my priority and it feels amazing. Seeing as I got nothing else, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, and I look forward to improving my writing. Over and out!

  1. Erica, I agree it can be difficult to write about yourself. Everyday we change and grow and look about the world with different views then we did yesterday. At 51 I am learning new things about me. I like when you write the attribution to a pre-midlife crisis. I liken it to climbing a winding mountain with the anticipation of seeing something new around each corner. When you get to the top you look back at what you came through then you go to the next mountain... That is called life or evolving. Chuck

  2. Thanks for commenting. I really like your analogy of climbing a winding mountain. I guess I'll be in a constant state of crisis(lol). See you Friday!

  4. Hi Erikah,
I have never been to Europe, but from what I have seen through movies, Europe seems very romantic especially if you are accompanied by your significant one. Hope you will have a great and safe trip, enjoy. Thanks for sharing.
